The Ministry of Trade and Industry will host a regional symposium held by the World Trade Organization in Cairo during the period 24-26 February 2009 on regional trade agreements for the Arab States and the Middle East to give Awareness to the representatives of participating States the rules of WTO and regional trade agreements as well as the evolution of the negotiations on the World Trade Organization and in accordance with the Doha Mandate of 2001.

The symposium will be held at the Marriott Hotel with the participation of representatives of a number of Egyptian Authorities relevant to the subject of regional trade agreements in addition to representatives of the Arab States and the Middle East who participate in the symposium.
