Training Courses

Several courses in the field of Trade Remedies (Subsidy, Dumping, Safeguard), as follows:

1.     Practical training on anti-dumping cases (New Zealand)

2.     Calculating dumping margins (U.S.A)

3.     Financial and economic analysis (A.U.C – Cairo)

4.     Improving performance in the field of trade remedies systems (USAID)

5.     Accounting costs in anti-dumping cases

      6. Economic analysis and computer courses(A.U.C-Cairo)

Job Responsibilities
  1. Participating in meetings with EU representatives in Belgium concerning cases submitted against Egyptian companies exporting cotton cloth and bed linens to the EU.
  2. Participating in dumping committee meetings held every six months at the WTO in Geneva.
  3. Participating in seminars on facilitating commerce procedures in Geneva.
  4. Verification visits to Korean, Japanese, Russian and Ukranian companies to verify data submitted in anti-dumping cases.
  5. Attending training courses in the field of anti-dumping (Jordan's Ministry of Trade and Industry and Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Trade).
  6. Participating in negotiation groups concerning anti-dumping and subsidy rules that seek to improve and develop the current rules in Geneva.
  7. Member of the Trade Protection Committee and the Dispute Settlement group in the National Committee to draft the Egyptian negotiating position on the field of WTO negotiations.
