Investigation Procedures
1- Written Complaint from the Domestic Industry is Received by the Department
2- Pre-initiation
STEP 1: The sufficiency, accuracy and adequacy of the application are examined.
STEP 2: Preparing for initiation if complaint is accepted.
STEP 3: The department reports to the Advisory Committee.
STEP 4: The Advisory Committee meets and makes a recommendation to the Minister.
STEP 5: The Minister approves recommendation of the Advisory Committee.

3- Initiation
STEP 6: Notification of Initiation of Investigation published and initiation package sent to interested parties.
STEP 7: Analysis of responses to questionnaires from interested parties.
Approximate No. of Days: 60-90
4- Preliminary Determination
STEP 8: The Preliminary Determination package is prepared.
STEP 9: The Advisory Committee meets and makes recommendations to the Minister.
STEP 10: The Minister approves the recommendations of  the Advisory Committee.
STEP 11: Notification of Preliminary Determination is published and Preliminary Determination packages are sent to interested parties.
Approximate No. of Days: 30
5- Verification visit
STEP 12: Preparing for and conducting the verification visit.
Approximate No. of Days: 50
6- Final Determination
STEP 13: Preparing and sending EF&C Report to the interested parties.
STEP 14: Receiving comments on EF&C and preparation of Final Report.
STEP 15: Final Determination package prepared.
STEP 16: The Advisory Committee meets and makes recommendations to the Minister.
STEP 17: The Minister makes final determination.
STEP 18: Notification of Final Determination is published and Final Determination packages are sent to interested parties.
