Egypt no longer applies the detailed rules of origin on the Egyptian imports of mineral products, vehicles, textiles and apparel imported   from Arab countries. As a result , Only the 40 % added value stipulated in the current  protocol of the rules of origin for Arab countries agreement will be applied. All the customs offices have been informed of this decision as well as the Arab league.
