The first session of the Egyptian – Bosnian and Herzegovinian Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation was held in Cairo on the 16th and 17th of November 2009.
The Egyptian delegation was headed by H.E. Mrs. Fayza Aboulnaga, Minister of International Cooperation of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Bosnian and Herzegovinian delegation was headed by H.E. Mr. Mladen Zirojevic, Minster of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina .
During the meetings both sides confirmed the friendly bilateral relations between Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the closing session, the following documents have been signed by both sides:
1- Agreement on cooperation in the field of Air Services between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the government of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
2- Memorandum of Understanding between National Library and Archive of Egypt and Archive of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
3- Protocol on Scientific Collaboration between University of Bihac and University of Mansoura.
4- Memorandum of understanding between General Authority for Investment and free Zones of Egypt and Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
5- Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Chamber between the Egyptian Federation of Chambers of Commerce and the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
