Launching the training course on trade policies organized by the Islamic Bank for Development in cooperation with the World Trade Organization under the auspices of HE Rashid Mohamed Rashid Minister of Trade and Industry   -    27 October 2009

The training course on trade policies, organized by the Islamic Bank for Development in cooperation with the World Trade Organization (WTO) under the auspices of HE Rashid Mohamed Rashid Minister of Trade and Industry, is taking place at the Nile Hotel during the period from the 25th of October to the 19th of November 2009.

The opening statements were presented by Mr. Elmostafa Aytamor on behalf of the Bank, Mr. Samer Seif El Yazal on behalf of the WTO, and Mr. Walid Elnozahy Undersecretary Head of WTO Central Dept. on behalf of Ministry of Trade and Industry.

The Course aims to clarify all the WTO agreements, the general principles of the multilateral trading system, the process of dispute settlement body, in addition to updating the participants with the WTO recent negotiations “Doha Working Program”.

The participants of the course are representing 19  countries from the Bank members, and 8 representatives from trade agreements and foreign trade sectors.
