Conclusion of the Seventh Ministerial Meeting of the WTO   -    11 December 2009

The Seventh Ministerial Conference for Trade Ministers of the WTO Member Countries has come to its end, which held in Geneva during the period from 30th November to 2nd December, 2009.

In terms of the negotiations on the Doha development round, which began in 2001 and is still going on, the Ministers agreed for the need to end the round of negotiations in 2010 which will be in the interest of reviving the global economy and move from the recession that was hit by the global financial crisis, with the need to maintain the development dimension of the round.

Egypt was represented at the Ministerial Conference by a High-Level delegation headed by Engineer Rashid Mohamed Rashid, Minister of Trade and Industry.

And the most important documents of the conference are as follows:
