   Notifications

There are provisions throughout the WTO agreements that require members to make regular notifications regarding changes in laws, imposition of measures, and implementation of the agreements. The goal of notification requirements is to contribute to the transparency of members’ trade regimes and to give other member countries timely notice and opportunity to consult regarding trade policy actions taken by a member country. In this section you will be able to:

If you are looking for a specific WTO member’s notifications, go to the WTO membership page, which allows you to search not only members’ notifications but also schedules of commitments, trade policy reviews, and disputes involving that member.

For any other searches related to notifications, go to “simple search” on the WTO Search page, and for “document symbol” click on the help button and choose “notifications”, which then allows you to choose the specific notification topic you would like to search about. You can also add other search parameters, such as dates and countries.
